Jazz musicians often have long and productive lives. Frank Sinatra lived to be 82, Perry Como to 88. Lionel Hampton to 92. Benny Carter is 94, and still spry and make regular appearances at anniversary shows (died in Aug. 2003). Irving Berlin, that famous and all time favorite composer, lived the longest to be 101.

Little Manuela's guests are sure to be able have a long and good life. The longevity of our country is a reality. Still, we would like to have a breath of fresh young air as we did when we first opened.
 

Murayama-kun who was bussing the tables at Little Manuela two years ago has come back to supervise the service this June after honing his culinary skills. Those of you who attended last year's Christmas party are sure to remember the plates he prepared for us.
